| FIND SUPPORT FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT |
Saturday, March 27, 2010 10:30AM - 12:30 AM
Are you actively examining your spiritual life and would like the chance to share that experience with others also seeking spiritual clarity? If so, the African American Women’s Resource Center invites you to an event to Find Support for Your Spiritual Development. Do you seek a means to dialogue about the spiritual questions in your life? Have you read something that helped you breakthrough your own spiritual suffering and you just want to tell everybody about it? Are you craving the company of people who will understand your desire for spiritual revelation?
If your spiritual life is dependent on dogmatic teachings of any kind this is not the place for you. But, if your religious faith or spiritual beliefs shape and direct your life path and you want to illuminate it and enhance your connection to Universal Truths, please joins us. [Special Note: This not intended to be about any religion. Women of all faiths are welcome, including women of no particular faith.] We will question, affirm, and challenge ourselves in the spirit of Love and Acceptance. We may even sing a song or two.
This is the prelude to a possible ongoing support group should the desire and need exist. But an ongoing commitment is not required to attend this day.
This gathering is facilitated by Diana Onley-Campbell, long time activist and seeker of spiritual health and wellbeing. Diana seeks, herself, a source of ongoing spiritual support as she experiences the adventure that is human existence. She is a highly skilled facilitator, speaker, and former member of the AAWRC Board of Directors. Diana is the creator of The Nine: A Global Spiritual Resource for Children. Her approach to matters of the spirit is one of humility and wonder. You can read her blog The Road to Happiness at http://happywalk.ology.com/.
The cost of this event is your time and willingness to be fully present.
Questions? Call the African American Women's Resource Center at 202-332-6561 or email Cassandra at CassandraBurton@aawrc.org.
See you there.
